Install a ductless heat pump to heat or cool your home

One of the most effective ways for homeowners to fight climate change is to replace our aging gas furnaces with a more energy-efficient heating and cooling solution: an electric heat pump!
The ductless mini-split heat pump system shown in this new Green Tip video by our team lead Kevin Morrison is a great choice for those of us who want to go as green as possible, because it uses only electricity to heat or cool your home, instead of polluting our air with natural gas.
A ductless heat pump is usually installed outside your home, and connected to air handlers in different rooms. Using a remote control, you can heat or cool the room you need, instead of your whole house. Heat pump systems are very energy-efficient and can save you money over time.
Special thanks to Kevin for creating this special video tip for us: it helped me better understand how this system works in practice. As Kevin points out, “I hope that a ductless mini-split heat pump system is in your future, because it's the green solution that we all need to make our lives better.”
