The Fairfax Climate Action Committee is getting started on the development of our Climate Action Plan.
You are probably unaware, but The Town Council last year passed a Climate Emergency Resolution.
We are in the process of thinking deeply about how we can work together to get our town to Carbon Neutral, by 2030. In doing this, we will be showing the rest of the world what we have already known; this little town in Northern California is special, and we make important change happen.
We are thinking about hosting some kind of Town Hall Event on Earth Day Week, so we can bring people together to talk about this plan. If you are interested in helping to plan, or just getting involved, please let me know. You can reach me on this blog, or at my email; Walt.Vernon@gmail.com.
